Running the Root River at Eagle Bluff

6th graders are spending the week at Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center in Lanesboro. On Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, they canoed a 3-mile stretch of the Root River. Safety came first as students cinched up life jackets. After a short training on paddling techniques and appropriate canoe etiquette, off they went. Check out the video clip to see them in action!
