Discovery Club is closed Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the day after, Christmas Eve afternoon, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, and July 4th. Fee's are not charged for holidays when Discovery Club is closed.
WINTER/SPRING VACATION and SCHOOL RELEASE DAYS
Sites remain open during school release days and winter and spring vacation, if there is sufficient enrollment. (Galtier, Highland and Mounds Park are closed during winter and spring vacation.) Enrollment is optional; parents contract for these days separately. After the contract due date, late enrollees are accepted if space is available. If parents wish to chaperone field trips, their child(ren) must be enrolled that day. Once parents/guardians contract for their child to attend, they are responsible for the fee even if their child does not attend.
