Welcome to the 2008 Spring Flower, Plant and Vegetable Sale!

This annual PTA sponsored fund-raiser is the easy way to buy your spring annuals, perennials and vegetables --- and at the same time benefit Horace Mann School. 

Order Forms (due by Tuesday, April 8, 2008)) for this year's sale are located at the bottom of this article (please scroll down). We invite all Horace Mann School families and their neighbors to place orders for spring plants and flowers, patio tubs, and hanging baskets.  Some perennials are available again this year.  All of our plants are ordered through Gertens Greenhouse. Your order will be delivered before Mother’s Day!

Gift Cards are also available in $25 denominations. The gift cards may be redeemed at any time at Gertens (5500 Blaine Ave., Inver Grove Heights, just off the 5th/7th Ave. exit on Highway 494, east of Highway 52).

We have a great selection of flowers available in a wide array of colors. The gorgeous hanging baskets (including the extremely popular wave petunias) are back. The long-blooming English Garden Baskets and Geranium Patio Tubs make an exquisite addition to your backyard.  Click here to see pictures of some of the items available this year.

Please share the order form with your extended family, neighbors, and friends.  Extra copies of the Order Forms are available in the school office or can be downloaded below .  You may take a 30% tax deduction on plant orders, and a 15% tax deduction on gift certificates.  A donation receipt for your tax records can be downloaded below.  Funds earned through the sale support classroom enrichment activities and extra-curricular activities which enhance the regular curriculum like Art Adventure and Writing through the Arts.

New for 2008...donate a dollar to help place flowers/plants near the school's entrance. This is on the final page of the Plant Sale Order Form.

Your order will be available for pick up on Thursday, May 8th, between 1 and 6 p.m. in the Horace Mann School parking lot off Kenneth St.  A reminder will be sent home with students before pickup.
