On Thursday, November 19 our 4th graders have a wonderful opportunity
to attend a performance by the Minnesota Orchestra. It is a Young
People’s concert called America Salute. We will hear music by the
composers who created America’s sound. Highlights will include
Copeland’s lively Rodeo and Lincoln Portrait. We will also hear great
music by Leonard Bernstein, Morton Gould, and others.
We will leave school at 9:00 and return by noon. I would like two
parent chaperones for this field trip. If you are interested and
available to accompany us, please let me know by Tuesday, November17.
